Upton Warren to Upton Snodsbury
Easter Monday
St Kenelm's Way is Worcestershire's newest long distance path, which follows the route of St Kenlem's body from his shallow grave to his final resting place at Winchcombe.
The overall journey is about 50 miles, which will be broken down into five legs - the first of which took place on New Year's Day.
This is the second stage of the walk - from Upton Warren to Upton Snodsbury.
The other stages will take place later in the year.
Travel arrangements for a linear walk require careful planning to ensure that enough vehicles are available to ferry people back and forth. The procedure is that two, four or six (an even number) cars are driven to the destination. Half the cars are parked and all the walkers pile into the remaining cars to drive back to the start, where these vehicles are then left.
Everyone does the walk to the destination and then returns in the cars parked earlier - to the start of the walk - in order to retrieve the second set of vehicles and return to their respective homes. All very simple really! A doubling up of cars is essential!
